A friend called me before I took a airplane to London,
she worried about my English, cause I chose the British airways. Only one crew
member can speak a little Chinese in the airplane. However things went smooth.
Until......
I couldn't find the man who will collect me
at Heathrow airport. He was late, and he is an Indian. I couldn't catch
his words. His pronunciation is totally different from Rajesh Koothrappali in THE
BIG BANG THEORY. = = The atmosphere was awkward. Not only I couldn’t
understand his words, but also he had the same feeling as I was.
There is an adage in China — all things are
difficult before they are easy. I have to use some applications I never used
before, cause I can’t use it in China, like Facebook. Also there are more video
players are forbidden in UK.
Fortunately, the peers and tutors I've met in UCA are easy
to get along with. I admire their talent in art. All of us come from
different countries and different majors. In the 2 weeks of PSEAD course, we know about each
other and the cultures from different countries. It is my pleasure to meet you,
guys~
It is very interesting that you share your experience to everyone:)
ReplyDeleteWa the Indian is so fun. I have the same feeling like you. But I think everything is ok. My friends surprised that I will study in UK. It's a useful experience to us.
